We are committed to making this service accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This service is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.

General issues

There are difficulties in using the service on a mobile phone in horizontal view.
It is not possible to extend the login time.
There are difficulties in using zoom with the service on a mobile phone.
Issues on use with impaired or without eyesight

Some content is incorrectly described for screen readers.
In a few places the correct HTML element for screen readers is missing.

Disproportionate burden
For some content, there is no option for people to go back and change their answers. We have assessed the cost of fixing the issues and believe that doing so would be a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations. We are investigating how the service can support people in a better way and address the issues identified above.

What we are doing to improve accessibility
Platform accessibility is reviewed on a regular basis. We will update this accessibility statement with relevant changes.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

The service was last tested and evaluated on 30 June 2020. The test was carried out by an independent external party. We have also conducted an internal review.
